U.S. Soccer hosted a Girls Fantasy Camp in Minneapolis October 21-24, 2017 around the U.S. Women's National Team's match vs. Switzerland.
This exclusive player/fan experience gave 15 girls the opportunity to train in a National Team camp environment and take part in unique behind-the-scenes access to U.S. Soccer.
Fantasy Campers enjoyed daily training sessions led by former U.S. WNT players Lindsay Tarpley and Nicole Barnhart, on-field seats at U.S. Bank Stadium for the USA v. Switzerland match on October 23, behind-the-scenes access to the U.S. WNT's open training, a VIP pre-game stadium tour that included access to the U.S. WNT locker room, hotel accommodations, all meals, a custom jersey, training apparel, gifts and more.
This Girls Fantasy Camp was open to girls of all skill levels born in 2002, 2003 and 2004. Participation was made possible through a donation to the U.S. Soccer Development Fund, part of which is tax deductible. All proceeds from Girls Fantasy Camps funds important development initiatives and will help continue to grow the beautiful game in the United States.
