+ WHAT IS THE U.S. SOCCER PATRONS PROGRAM TO LONDON?
The U.S. Soccer Patrons Program to London is an unrivalled opportunity to experience the upcoming match as part of the official U.S. Soccer Delegation. The program includes behind-the-scenes access, premium tickets to the Kickoff Series USMNT v. England match on November 15, official accommodations, ground transportation, cultural excursions, and more.
+ WHAT ARE THE DATES OF THE PATRONS PROGRAM?
The Patrons Program will take place from November 14 – 17 in London, England. Programming starts with dinner on Wednesday, November 14.
+ WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE EXPERIENCE?
The Patrons Program includes:
- Premium match tickets as part of the official U.S. Soccer Delegation
- Luxury accommodations and breakfast each morning at the official U.S. Soccer Hotel for three nights (November 14-17)
- Exclusive behind-the-scenes access and opportunities, including a tour of a Premier League Academy
- Ground transportation to official events and airport transfers
- U.S. Soccer gifts and apparel, and more
- Honorary one-year Captains Circle membership

+ WILL I MEET ANY OF THE CURRENT NATIONAL TEAM PLAYERS?
Player meetings (including autograph opportunities) are not an official part of the Patrons Program. While there may be some informal opportunities to interact with the team during your visit, please know that U.S. Soccer does not guarantee any meetings or autographs.
+ HOW DO I RESERVE A SPOT?
To reserve your spot, please fill out the Patrons Program registration form. Your spot will be reserved upon receipt of your donation, and contingent on the results of a basic background check (five-minute screening survey).
ABOUT YOUR DONATION
+ WHAT IS THE COST PER PERSON?
The cost per person will vary based on your Patron group size. U.S. Soccer is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and part of the donation to participate is tax deductible. Donation to participate:
- Individual: $5,950
- Couple: $8,950
- A limited number of “at-cost” spots are available for U.S. Soccer Development Fund Coaches and Presidents Circle Members ($3,950 per person; $5,950 per couple).
+ WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DONATION?
The donation amount covers hotel accommodations, all meals, an official U.S. Soccer Delegation ticket to attend the USMNT vs. England match, ground transportation (including airport transfers), a personalized U.S. Soccer jersey, cultural excursions, honorary Captains Circle membership, and more. Your donation does not include flights/airfare to London and home.
+ HOW MUCH OF THE DONATION IS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
For a donation to be considered tax-deductible, no goods or services can be received in exchange for the donation. U.S. Soccer has estimated the fair-market value of the program in its “at-cost” pricing. U.S. Soccer will provide a formal thank you letter for tax-purposes recognizing the tax-deductible portion as the donation amount less the “at-cost” price. For Patrons participating in the program “at-cost,” no portion of the donation is considered tax deductible.
- Individual: $5,950 (donation) less $3,950 (at-cost value) = $2,000 donation
- Couple: $8,950 (donation) less $5,950 (at-cost value) = $3,000 donation
+ IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN OR SCHEDULE?

+ WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Please note the following Patrons Program cancellation policy:
- For cancellations before October 24, 2018, U.S. Soccer will refund 50% of your total donation.
- For cancellations between October 24, 2018 and November 14, 2018, U.S. Soccer will refund 25% of your total donation
All portions of the donation retained will be recognized as tax-deductible.
+ HOW DO I MAKE MY DONATION?
To make your donation, please complete the Patrons Program London registration form. Upon completion of this form, a U.S. Soccer Development Fund team member will reach out to confirm your payment and discuss the next steps.
PATRONS PROGRAM PLANNING & SECURITY
+ DO I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes, all Patrons, adult and minors, need a valid passport to travel to England. Please check that your passport’s expiration date is valid through May 2019, as most countries will not permit a traveler to enter their country unless the passport is set to expire at least six months after the final day of travel. You do not require a visa to enter England.
+ WHAT SECURITY PROCESSES SHOULD I BE AWARE OF FOR MY GROUP?
U.S. Soccer is committed to the safety and security of our guests, players, coaches, families and staff while in London. As Patrons Program participants enjoy the greatest amount of access available to U.S. Soccer fans, we kindly request that each Patron complete a background screening to help us safeguard our entire U.S. Soccer group. (Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and are not required to participate in the background screening.)
+ WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED FOR A BACKGROUND CHECK?
U.S. Soccer partners with National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) to administer a comprehensive background screening for guests and ensure the highest level of safety within our programs. The background check is free for Patrons and is a simple (five-minute) online form requesting:
- Full name
- Social Security Number
- Valid email address
- Prior addresses for the past 5 years
- Criminal history (simple yes/no questions)
Guests must electronically sign and agree to NCSI commencing the background check. Both you and U.S. Soccer will be alerted when the screening is complete.
+ HOW MUCH DOES THE BACKGROUND CHECK COST?
The background screening is completely free for guests of the Patrons Program. Guests will be provided with a website and Self Registration Number for the simple five-minute multi-screen form.
+ WHEN ARE RESULTS AVAILABLE FROM THE BACKGROUND CHECK?
The background screening process generally takes 10 business days to complete. During that time, it is common for NCSI to have questions or need additional information. In these cases, guests will be contacted via e-mail.
+ WHO RECEIVES THE RESULTS OF THE BACKGROUND CHECK?
NCSI will provide the results of the background screening directly to U.S. Soccer in the form of a simple "Red Light/Green Light" clearance report. Report results will be evaluated individually, and guests will be informed by U.S. Soccer staff when they are cleared to participate in the Patrons Program. Should a guest be unable to take part in the Patrons Program based on the results of the background check, U.S. Soccer will fully refund the guest’s donation.
+ WHAT DOES A TYPICAL PATRONS PROGRAM SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE?

+ WHERE ARE THE SEATS LOCATED FOR THE GAME?
U.S. Soccer is working closely with the FA to provide premium seats for Patrons. Details to follow.
+ I AM INTERESTED IN SOME BENEFITS LIKE TICKETS AND EXCURSIONS, BUT NOT OTHERS. CAN I CREATE MY OWN PROGRAM?
For logistical and security reasons, U.S. Soccer does not allow Patrons to create their own a-la-carte program. While you are able to opt out of activities during the Program, we ask Patrons choose a package that best fits their time frame and interests.
+ WHAT IS THE AVERAGE AGE OF PEOPLE THAT TAKE PART? ARE THERE ANY AGE LIMITS OR REQUIREMENTS?
There are no age restrictions for Patrons. We ask that guests under the age of 18 be accompanied by an adult. It is also important to note, strollers are not permitted in Wembley, and behind-the-scenes activities and other excursions may include a fair amount of walking, including stairs.
+ DO MOST PEOPLE ATTEND WITH FAMILY, A FRIEND OR ON THEIR OWN?
Many guests chose to attend with spouses, children, siblings, and friends. Patrons Program guests attend events together, so all guests will have social opportunities.
+ WHAT U.S. SOCCER GEAR WILL THE PATRONS RECEIVE?
U.S. Soccer is proud to present Patrons with crested gear for their experience. Your gear package will include a customized jersey, Nike jacket and more.
+ DO PATRONS NEED MONEY WHILE IN LONDON?
U.S. Soccer will cover costs associated to official Patrons Program events (accommodations, excursions, and most meals). Patrons should be prepared to fund their personal incidentals, souvenirs and any food or drinks outside official events.
+ WILL I BE GUARANTEED A SEAT NEXT TO MY GUEST(S)?
We want you, your friends and family to enjoy the match together. We will ensure that you and your other Patron Program guests are seated next to each other.
+ IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR ANY EVENTS DURING THE PATRONS PROGRAM?
While there is no official dress code for your Patrons Program experience, U.S. Soccer will provide a Welcome Packet ahead of your trip, indicating appropriate attire for each activity. Guests may use these recommendations as a helpful tool when packing.
+ IS PHOTOGRAPHY PERMITTED DURING ALL PATRONS PROGRAM ACTIVITIES?
As a U.S. Soccer guest, you will be permitted special behind-the-scenes access to the National Team and training grounds. While cameras are welcome throughout most of your visit to London, U.S. Soccer will alert you when photographs (and social media usage) are not permitted.
+ WILL I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE MORE U.S. SOCCER MERCHANDISE IN LONDON?
U.S. Soccer does not have official vendors at away International Friendlies. U.S. Soccer merchandise is available at store.ussoccer.com.
+ WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ITINERARY, GAME TICKETS AND CREDENTIALS?
Patrons receive a Welcome Packet, complete with itinerary, transportation and hotel details approximately two weeks before the trip. Guests receive their game ticket on game day, provided to them by their U.S. Soccer guide.
