+ WHAT WILL MY GIFT SUPPORT?

Your support will help develop more world-class players through need-based scholarships and improving the everyday environment for the elite youth athlete, more and better coaches by establishing a national network of coach educators and high-quality programs at the National Coaching Education Center, and National Teams that consistently succeed on the international stage through better scouting, more training opportunities, and our High Performance Department maximizing technology and innovative sports science.

+ IS MY GIFT TO THE U.S. SOCCER DEVELOPMENT FUND TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?

Yes. U.S. Soccer is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 13-5591991) The tax-deductibility of your gift varies depending on your giving choice. Should you choose to join one of U.S. Soccer’s Circles, you will access exclusive benefits which alter the total tax-deductibility rate. You can also choose to give a fully tax deductible gift by waiving benefits, or providing a unique giving amount. Upon receiving your donation, U.S. Soccer will send you a formal letter for tax purposes, indicating the amount considered tax-deductible by law.

+ CAN I DIRECT MY GIFT TO ONE PROGRAM – SUCH AS THE WOMEN’S NATIONAL TEAM?

At this time, the Development Fund is set up as a general fund, with resources supporting projects of greatest funding need at the time of your gift. Please email the U.S. Soccer Development Fund Team at circles@ussoccer.org to explore options related to direct funding.

+ CAN I DEDICATE MY GIFT TO SOMEONE OR SOMETHING?

Yes, we would be happy to recognize your gift as a dedication. In addition to the formal thank you letter, we can also send out a letter notifying the third party (“in honor of”) of your generous contribution. + CAN MY COMPANY PROVIDE A MATCHING GIFT TO U.S. SOCCER?

Circles are a network of passionate donors who enjoy special opportunities around the National Teams and Federation. Your Circle membership is your step closer to U.S. Soccer. By joining a Circle, you gain access to a range of exclusive benefits while making a tax-deductible donation to support the sport. + WHAT ARE THE TAX-DEDUCTIBILITY RATES FOR CIRCLE DONATIONS?

A gift is considered tax-deductible when no goods or services were provided to you as a result of your donation. Obviously, Circles come with a range of exclusive benefits. Each level has a unique tax-deductibility amount, outlined below. Upon receiving your donation, U.S. Soccer will send you an official thank you letter for tax purposes. • Supporters Circle: 100% tax deduction ($500)
• Captains Circle: 80% tax deduction ($798)
• Coaches Circle: 91% tax deduction ($4,548)
• Presidents Circle: 93% tax deduction ($9,348)

+ CAN I DONATE WITHOUT JOINING A CIRCLE?

Yes, you can absolutely donate without joining a Circle. Please email the U.S. Soccer Development Fund Team at [Circles@ussoccer.org][3].

+ HOW CAN I UPGRADE MY CIRCLE LEVEL?

You can upgrade your Circle level at any time. To do this online, go to the giving webpage, and manually input the amount representing the difference between your current Circle membership, and the Circle membership to which you’d like to upgrade. U.S. Soccer will cross reference your gift with your current Circle membership, and recognize and upgrade your benefits after receiving your donation. If you have questions about upgrading your Circle membership level, please email the U.S. Soccer Development Fund Team at Circles@ussoccer.org.

+ HOW DO I RENEW MY CIRCLE MEMBERSHIP?

To renew your Circle membership, simply go to the online giving webpage, select or upgrade your Circle and complete the page. U.S. Soccer will see your gift and recognize your renewal in its system, and you will receive your corresponding benefits. + CAN I CANCEL MY CIRCLE MEMBERSHIP?

You can cancel your Circle membership at any time by visiting www.ussoccer.com/profile/account-and-billing or by contacting The U.S. Soccer Development Fund Team at Circles@ussoccer.org. However, please be advised that your donation is an important and nonrefundable gift to U.S. Soccer.

+ DO I GET TO MEET THE PLAYERS THROUGH MY CIRCLE BENEFITS OR DONATION?

No, Your Circle does not entitle you to meet & greets or formal interactions with U.S. Soccer National Team players.

+ DO I RECEIVE TICKETS AS PART OF MY CIRCLE DONATION?

While your Circle does entitle you to top benefits – such as priority pre-sale access to purchase ticket or concierge ticketing services– you do not receive tickets directly through your contribution to U.S. Soccer. You must purchase your tickets to U.S. Soccer matches in order to attend. If you have any questions regarding purchasing tickets, please reach out to the U.S. Soccer Development Fund Team at Circles@ussoccer.org.

+ CAN I WATCH THE TEAM TRAIN AS PART OF MY CIRCLE BENEFITS OR DONATION?

U.S. Soccer National Teams occasionally host “Public Trainings” around matches. However, this is entirely at the discretion of the National Team coaches, whose first priority is to create the optimal training environment for their players. There are no guarantees that a Public Training will take place.

+ HOW MUCH COMMUNICATION WILL I RECEIVE FROM U.S. SOCCER REGARDING MY CIRCLE MEMBERSHIP?

Please know that during your Circle year, you will be receiving emails from both the Development Fund Team and the Membership Team to help manage your benefits and ensure you have the best experience possible. Expect to receive a higher volume of emails when U.S. National Team games are announced or approaching. Please add @ussoccer.org to your spam filter to ensure you receive all emails from the U.S. Soccer Development Fund Team and Membership.

+ ACCESS TO U.S. SOCCER LEADERSHIP TELECONFERENCES (SUPPORTERS CIRCLE AND ABOVE)?

The Leadership Teleconference is a special telephone conference call for top supporters. You will have the opportunity to dial in and hear directly from a U.S. Soccer leader, luminary or decision-maker about important activities, matches and development work happening now and on the horizon. At the end of each discussion, you can personally ask questions to learn more. Calls are generally 45 minutes and happen between 10am and 1pm central time on a weekday. U.S. Soccer works to organize Leadership Teleconferences two to four times a year, and shares call-in details by email about one week in advance of the call. To participate, simply RSVP and follow the directions to call-in. For questions about the Leadership Teleconferences, please contact the Development Fund Team at circles@ussoccer.org.

+ VIP ACCESS TO U.S. SOCCER EVENTS (SUPPORTERS CIRCLE AND ABOVE)?

We look forward to presenting you with special opportunities around the National Teams and Federation. U.S. Soccer hosts events throughout the year across the United States. Opportunities will vary per event. However, the U.S. Soccer Development Fund Team will regularly reach out with invitations and directions about exciting activities happening in your area or around matches Circle members attend. + 2 PRE-GAME HOSPITALITY PASSES PER MATCH* (CAPTAINS CIRCLE AND ABOVE)?

At U.S. Soccer-hosted matches where available, Captains Circle Insiders and above will have access to complimentary hospitality offerings. The U.S. Soccer Development Fund Team will contact Captains, Coaches, and Presidents Circles directly to ensure you receive the passes you need to enjoy yourself ahead of the match.

+ CONCIERGE TICKETING SERVICES FOR U.S. SOCCER-HOSTED MATCHES (COACHES CIRCLE AND ABOVE)?

Elite supporters in the Coaches and Presidents Circles enjoy concierge ticketing opportunities. Upon receiving your donation, U.S. Soccer will reach out to you with instructions on how to reserve or purchase tickets for a match. Some limitations may apply (example: your preferred ticketing level may be sold out; restrictions on the number of tickets for a match which you can purchase), but Development Fund staff will work with you personally to find the best solution so you can be there to cheer on the team at the match.

+ 4 FIELD-LEVEL ACCESS PASSES TO WATCH WARM-UPS PER MATCH (COACHES CIRCLE AND ABOVE)?

Coaches and Presidents Circle members can get as close as possible to the Team prior to kickoff when the benefit is available. For any match you attend, you are entitled to four field-level passes to watch warm-ups. Please contact the U.S. Soccer Development Fund Team if you are attending a match and would like to activate this opportunity. Warm-ups will take place an hour before the posted kick-off time. You will be provided with directions on where to receive your credentials and access field-level. Please note that field-level access will only be granted for U.S. Soccer-hosted matches. You must alert the U.S. Soccer Development Fund Team at least 48 hours in advance to confirm. Please reach out to Circles@ussoccer.org to confirm your attendance.

+ 4 VIP PRE-GAME TOUR PASSES PER MATCH (PRESIDENTS CIRCLE ONLY)?

Presidents Circle members can enjoy a special behind-the-scenes opportunity ahead of each match when available. You will receive four passes for a pre-game stadium tour, including locker-room access, a photo opportunity on the field, the press box and more – including, of course, field-level access to watch warm-ups. Your U.S. Soccer guide will meet you two hours before kick-off at a prearranged gate or private stadium entrance. He or she will provide you with your VIP credential and assist in your game-day experience. Please note that the pregame tour will only be available for U.S. Soccer-hosted matches and you must alert U.S. Soccer Development Fund staff at least a week in advance to confirm.
